My First Visit
We understand that going to the dentist can be a stressful thing, especially if it’s the first time, or if we have a history of negative experiences. Our main goal is to make sure your child is comfortable and associates the dentist with positive experiences and a place where they can feel safe.
During your child’s first visit, we will perform a cleaning, take appropriate x-rays, provide a full exam, and fluoride treatment, if desired. We do not push any services that you don’t feel comfortable with and are committed to openly discuss any treatment and when and why we do things. Of course, our goal is to answer any concerns you may have and address the main reason for the visit.

Dealing with insurance companies can be complicated and frustrating, especially dental plans. If your child has healthy teeth, the oral hygiene routine is strong in the house, and diet is balanced and controlled, dental insurance may not be worth the cost. A simple way of finding out is to calculate how much your dental plan premium is per year, and compare how much two dental visits are out-of-pocket per year.
